I like the compromise of altering the post but not deleting it entirely. That’s what I do, even though it is my blog and my content. I don’t want to screw the folks linking to me.

This is not good. While my first thought is that Google is going to somehow manage to screw us all over, probably inadvertently, my other thought is that blindly ordering a company to divulge its customers to another is also bad. This judge == tool.
