I’m sorry to single someone out, but blogs, like theater, shouldn’t break “the fourth wall.” If, as a technology company, you can’t keep the details of a blog migration away from the readers how can I expect you to enable me to do so with services built on your products?

“AT&T says it will implement a 150GB monthly cap on landline DSL customers and a 250GB cap on subscribers to U-Verse high speed internet starting on May 2nd.” @gallifreyan and I were discussing this via teh Twitter, and it sure would be interesting to see the inverse: how many people are paying full price but using very little of their DSL service. AT&T never seems to mention that, it’s always about “abuse” and raising prices or capping things. Personally, I suspect this is them striking back against the Apple TV and NetFlix using a convenient excuse. Get over it, AT&T, you’re a pipe, and a particularly terrible one at that.

More and more we’re seeing that servers don’t need to be all that cool to function properly, especially if they’re diskless.

I turned it on — no problems, but I haven’t noticed any real improvements, either, from a simple user point of view.
