I like it! "If there’s one way you can really judge a job candidate’s true character, it is by determining their preference between Star Wars and Star Trek. Make sure that when you ask this question, you give no indication whatsoever which you prefer! Some interviewees will try to take a compromise position and say, “I like them both equally.” This is utter nonsense and the sign of an intellectual weakling who cannot make a decision."

"In other words, nothing about this video seems to imply Best Buy in anyway. In fact, the only reason it will be tied to Best Buy now is thanks to this story." Nice shot, idiots. Again, if you'd have left it alone you wouldn't look like fools. Also, the videos are funny as hell, definitely NSFW language.

I don’t have answers to many of those questions, actually (only have seen the dune movies, not read the books, I like both star trek and star wars, could not identify Gary whoever, etc)
i know that the list was tongue in cheek, but it is a really narrow view on geeks and on scifi and on board/roleplaying games.
Frankly, d&d is lame by comparison to others and Babylon 5 trumps both star wars and star trek 😉
Jordan — yeah. I do really like the “Star Wars or Star Trek” ones, though. The idea that someone needs to make a decision and defend it is an important one, at least in the organization I’m in.
I also never really watched any Babylon 5, maybe I should… I’ve been looking for something I can watch on the iPhone while I’m flying.
