This is too often the attitude toward any serious mental condition, in or out of the military. And people are surprised at the suicide rate. There will be jerks who think they’re more important than their comrades or their mission (in civilian life, colleagues and job), but labeling them “whiners” doesn’t fix the problem.
Who said anything about a mental condition? One thing the last two years of my life has taught me is that everybody loves to complain about everything. You’re a great example of this. Quit trying to transmute this into something bigger or more significant. It isn’t.
