They’re still making Itanium’s because its the only upgrade path out of HP’s PA-RISC line and HP would bury them in lawsuits if they killed it off.

I believe that porn is going with HD-DVD, and whichever way porn goes, so goes the market. We can thank them for VHS winning over Beta.
